The Judi Dench Playhouse is the principal auditorium at The Questors Theatre on Mattock Lane, close to Ealing Broadway. The venue describes the Playhouse as a 350-seat theatre, accompanied by a smaller 90-seat Studio. The main performance space was renamed in honour of Dame Judi Dench during celebrations marking the theatre building's fiftieth anniversary. Dench has maintained a long association with The Questors and has served as its president since the 1980s, connecting one of Britain's most acclaimed stage and screen performers with a major community theatre organisation.
The Questors was founded in 1929 by a group of young theatre enthusiasts and established a permanent home in Ealing during the 1930s. The organisation has subsequently developed into one of London's best-known non-professional theatre companies, combining public performances with acting courses, youth theatre, directing, technical production, costume work and other backstage activities.

A wool trading centre in the Middle Ages, Chipping Campden enjoyed the patronage of wealthy wool merchants, most notably William Greville (d.1401). The High Street is lined with buildings built from locally quarried oolitic limestone known as Cotswold stone, and boasts a wealth of vernacular architecture. Much of the town centre is a conservation area which has helped to preserve the original buildings. The town is an end point of the Cotswold Way, a 102-mile long-distance footpath.

Letterman's successor, Stephen Colbert, continues to broadcast The Late Show with Stephen Colbert from the Ed Sullivan Theater, although extensive renovations were made between the two hosts' tenures.[16] Removal of the Letterman set took place only a few hours after his last show, on May 20, 2015. Letterman's marquee was also removed, and was temporarily replaced by a banner promoting the Angelo's Pizza restaurant adjacent to the theater, featuring Colbert posing with a slice of pizza.
The theater underwent a full restoration to its original 1927 splendor, including the exposure of the theater's dome, which had been covered up by air ducts and sound buffers, the re-installation of the original stained-glass windows, which had been removed and placed in storage during the Letterman era, and the restoration of a wooden chandelier with individual stained-glass chambers that house its bulbs. The restoration was made possible due to advances in technology that allowed less sound and video equipment to cover up the auditorium's architectural details. CBS executive Richard Hart explained that Colbert was initially hesitant to use the theater, but called for the restoration after he was informed about the dome while touring the facility.
Colbert described his new set as being intimate
it features a multi-tier design, with extensive use of LED lighting and video projection backdrops, and a larger desk area than that of Letterman. Exposed for the new show, the Sullivan's dome is lit up with a digital projection system which is used to display images above the theater, such as a kaleidoscopic pattern featuring images of Colbert's face and the CBS logo. An old shot, sadly the noise abatement society have led to the demise of CBGB's at 315 Bowery. I dont know who should be more ashamed. The club originally opened by Billy Kristal closed in October 2006. The final concert was performed quite appropriately by Patti Smith on 15/10/2006.
A lot of my favourite bands cut their teeth there and I remember having early cassette tape bootlegs from CBGB's. My faves were the Ramones, Tom Verlaine &
Television, Patti Smith Group, The Dead Boys (I came across Sonic Reducer on 12' last week- which prompted me to dig this out), Richard Hell &
The Voidoids, The Cramps, Blondie and those darlings Talking Heads.
